Lakeville Bathroom Remodel: Modern Comfort with Timeless Style

This Lakeville bathroom remodel was the third project Honey-Doers Remodeling completed for these homeowners—a testament to trust built through consistent communication, craftsmanship, and results. The bathroom was original to their 1994 home and no longer met their needs, particularly due to accessibility challenges with the existing drop-in tub.

The homeowners wanted a refreshed bathroom that maintained a traditional aesthetic while adding heated flooring, improved safety, and better overall function.

Using drawings and CAD planning, the design reworked the layout while remaining within the existing footprint. Custom red oak cabinetry with an Early American stain provided warmth and storage, while MSI Lumataj quartz countertops offered durability and a clean, timeless look. Heated porcelain tile flooring added everyday comfort, especially during Minnesota winters.

The shower and tub area was redesigned with a quartz tub surround and undermount tub, significantly improving accessibility and stability. Delta Lahara fixtures in Champagne Bronze added a refined accent, while the Alumax glass shower door maintained openness without sacrificing function.

One challenge arose with the location of an existing floor vent. Rather than relocate it and increase costs, the team designed a flush, tile-integrated vent that preserved airflow and visual continuity.

Despite the project overlapping with major holidays, clear scheduling and proactive communication kept the renovation on track. The project was completed within the planned timeline, and the homeowners were extremely pleased with both the result and the process.

This Lakeville bathroom remodel reflects Honey-Doers Remodeling at its best—thoughtful planning, skilled execution, and a commitment to delivering comfort, quality, and peace of mind.
